or not. I've continued seeking out people of color on Sunday mornings and greeting them / inviting them to a meal after the service / etc. I feel that if I want to be part of a church with a diverse spectrum, that is one way I can make sure people are welcomed and comfortable when they visit.

not sure if the concept of hate crimes is necessary in the first place. I don't know that we ought to punish someone more because they committed a crime against a person because they hate whatever group
